He captured our family beautifully in two amazing portraits at the beach while the sun was setting; and notably, he did this w/ our 2 young girls (3 & 5) who were more interested in playing than taking pictures. Any photographer will tell you it’s “really” difficult to do a sunset shoot b/c of the small window of time to shoot. Add kids to the mix & it usually spells disaster. Mark (& Kari) were both very kind & patient yet completely in control through the entire process. We were completely in love with our raw photos when we reviewed them initially, then Mark finished each portrait with some very tasteful photo-editing that transformed the photos into pure art. They’re now the centerpieces to our home and our friends & family all love them. I’ve recommended him to others and will use him again when our girls are a bit older. "One of the most fortunate things to happen to my family is that we were introduced to Mark Jordan Photography at an early stage. We still have the first priceless portrait he did for us still hanging in our house. It was 1993, 20 years ago when our 5 year old and our 8 year old were photographed. I wish you could see it. EVERYONE that comes in our home comments on the breathtaking work of art. Since then we have had family portraits done every so often. All of them wonderful works that will become prized possessions through generations. In 1993, I was not in a position to afford many luxuries. Having never worked with a Master Photographer, Mark’s fees seemed high, but I wanted something of value, not a department store generic photo. The financial sacrifice is long forgotten, but the works of art are still enjoyed every day. After watching and understanding the amount of effort that goes into each one of his pieces, I truly believe he could price his work much higher. Mark Jordan is fanatical about his photography. Even if he tried, I don’t think he could ever force himself not to obsess over the most minor of details. I remember when he re-tied my tie for me, because he wanted it a certain way.
